Tokarev SVT-40 Rifle

This video gives insight into World War II Soviet SVT-40 semi-automatic Battle Rifle. The SVT-40 is a development of earlier SVT-38, designed both arms by Fedor Tokarev. The SVT-Series was the first mass produced and exhibited produces semi-automatic Battle Rifle, with over a million. The SVT was fed to the full performance 7.62x54R cartridge. The gun in this video was made in Tula Arsenal in 1940. The end of the war saw new and better weapons in the Soviet UnionArsenal and SVT rifles were like this one from the service date, and presented taken in the war reserve. The accompanying music is a popular WWII Russian song called "Katyusha".
