It was a typical Knicks' playoff victory, led with drama, sensational defense and a physical match, the ejections and heated emotions. The Chicago Bulls mounted a furious comeback, but New York has had a game-winning at the last minute. John Starks made a spectacular left-handed driving dunk excited that the public and his teammates. Charles Oakley dominated both backboards and made clutch free throws. And the Knicks remained masters of the Madison Square Garden, where they have 27 ₩consecutive games. A further step towards dethroning the two NBA Champions outwilled, the Knicks, the Bulls, 96-91, last in Game 2 of the Eastern Conference Championship Series night. The victory of New York has a two games-to-none lead in the four-of-seven-game series. And it gave the Bulls to think much before the series shifts to Chicago for Game 3 on Saturday afternoon.
